Growing up, Laura sensed the Lord was calling her to ministry. She desired to serve the Lord and tell the lost about Jesus Christ.  In 2001, she graduated from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana as a Communication Studies major. She married Kyle Lance Martin months later and together, they chose to surrender their lives for the sake of the Gospel, reaching the lost and encouraging the Church.

Since the beginning of Time to Revive’s establishing, Laura has tasted and seen the equipping of the Lord for every season. In January 2010, when the Lord made it clear that Kyle was to step down as Associate Pastor at Dallas Bible Church and Time to Revive was to be born, faith and belief allowed Laura to see with her husband the continued adventure. From writing weekly e-mails for intercessory prayer to sharing her gift of hospitality with staff and community members alike, Laura’s passion for the Lord to use her in creative ways continues to anchor TTR well.

When not writing and opening up her home, she also loves spending time with Kyle and their four kids: Maya, Nadia, Selah, and Jude. Whether playing outside or getting involved in activities that bring her kids joy, she loves seeing them laugh and play well. Laura also loves exploring new coffee shops with friends, thrift shopping for those perfect finds, and sitting in her comfy chair at home where she can spend intimate time with the Lord.
