Art and his wife, Jodi, first heard about Time to Revive when reviveINDIANA headed to Northwest Indiana (NWI) back in 2015. They were intrigued and attended one of the evening services. Having prayed for and pursued revival in their own church family, Art and Jodi quickly realized this is what revival looks like. They loved how TTR equipped churches of all different backgrounds to join together in unity and go out to pray and share the Gospel with people. Art and Jodi both felt the call to be full-time TTR team members that very week!
In September 2015, Art and Jodi were accepted as Team Members in Process with TTR. They spent the next two years, walking by faith, fundraising, working with reviveINDIANA efforts in the NWI area and serving with other reviveCITIES in Florida, Ohio and Texas. Over time, it became clear that the Lord was leading Jodi to focus more on home, caring for their young daughter, Layla, and her father who is in poor health. While the picture of how their family would serve with TTR evolved, Art and Jodi’s commitment to the Lord’s calling on their lives never has. This continues to be an incredible journey of faith that has changed their lives forever, and they look forward to the next season ahead!
Art and Jodi live in Laporte, Indiana with their daughter, Layla. They have three grown sons, Chad, Dylan and Caleb, as well as three granddaughters, Lily, Madison and Shay. Before joining the TTR team, Art worked for 12 years as an EMT. No stranger to ministry, Art has been involved with many different aspects, including church board member, youth leader, children’s church teacher, prayer ministry, food pantry and preaching. Art loves spending time with his family and being outdoors, camping, playing disc golf and traveling. In fact, his knowledge and love of the outdoors earned him the nickname “Nature Man” from the youth in his home church!
