Martha’s first introduction to Kyle Lance Martin came in 2009 when she heard him hitting the streets of Dallas to share the Gospel on his radio show, “Man on the Street.” She started following him and then the Time to Revive team (via the airwaves and internet) to Michigan, North Carolina, the Twin Cities and Indiana.
After several years in corporate jobs, Martha sensed there was “something more” but couldn’t quite define what that was. Although she had volunteered with various ministries, Martha had never considered working in ministry full-time. Martha worked for a number of Fortune 500 companies. After being laid off for the third time in her career, she decided to do something completely different and landed at the family business, La Margarita Mod-Mex Kitchen and Rita Lounge in 2014. The following year, Kyle was invited to speak at her church where he shared about reviveTX. Immediately, Martha knew she had to be a part of the 50 days! But it wasn’t until the fall of 2016, when she “coincidentally” met Shawn Carlson at a TTR prayer meeting, that God began to reveal to Martha the “something more” she had been looking for.
Martha holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington and a MBA from Dallas Baptist University. She is a certified Project Manager (PMP) and fluent in Spanish. Martha grew up spending summers in Mexico with her grandparents and cousins. She loves to travel and experience new cultures. Martha loves beaches, mountains, sunsets, full moons and the brilliant colors of fall in New England. Martha also makes a mean chocolate cake, is an avid reader and enjoys connecting with friends and family.
